I wanted to know more about this extraordinary place without having to take exams; it definitely fulfilled my expectations of interest and information. I’ve discovered a love for cold places, at a distance anyway! The modules were well paced and led well into each other with lovely photos.

One participant had some experience in a related field and could ‘talk the talk’, interesting but slightly daunting. Currently unable to work, it kept my mind alert and interested and able to better understand related news items.

I am a U3A England member and found the course very interesting and will use it for talks I give occasionally to our psychology class.

I am new to the retirement business having gone from full time to part time work with my employer for the past 22 years. I have now retired from that company. I am now undertaking paid work for an organisation for which I was honorary treasurer for the past 10 years. The reason being is that the organisation has grown and now requires an in house presence by an accountant for approximately one day per week. I have found the course beneficial and looking forward to continuing my education with other courses offered by U3A Online. I am also considering my options in regard to unpaid voluntary work.
