Because everyone participated so freely, the course demands quite a bit of time. Though Peter encouraged us to contribute longer articles, I could hardly keep up, and would not have had time to read more than was submitted. I commend Peter for his dedicated effort to assist with every contribution we made.

This course was brilliant to partcipate in. Both fellow students and the tutor worked so well together, having lots of fun while learning. We all seemed to play well off one another. The tutor was always ready to take advice as well as offer solutions, and his responses were usually on the button and most helpful. A great six weeks which proved too short.

I would certainly take another course with U3A. I felt I did not take advantage of all the facilities available to me re forums etc, but would remedy this when I enrol in another course.

The scope of this course presented an overview of the many aspects of scientific thought and discovery that have emerged. This was not available to me in my early years of education and has proved to be a valuable resource.

I enjoyed and appreciated this course. It absorbed much of my time and led me into areas of research that made it so worthwhile. I cannot praise the efforts of writers of the U3A courses highly enough. These courses are a boon and a benefit to those of us, retired and unwilling to let our minds fall into a vacuum!
