I found the course was great even though at times we had storms and the computer was playing up. The course was very interesting. I would recommend it to any who want to gain an understanding of how, what and where the many diverse religions came into existence from or what made them be founded.

I thought the course was very in depth for non-students, but I certainly enjoyed it and got a lot out of it.

I am a teacher Aide working in a Special School with disadvantaged students and so enjoy studying something different from my work week although at the school we have a huge variety of religions both with the students and also the staff. We are a very multicultural school. I love it and have enjoyed discussions with other staff who practise various religions. Well done to all at 3UAOL.

U3A Online is a wonderful tool for those of us who are somewhat isolated but wish to keep the brain active in our later years. Thanks to all involved, tutors, volunteers and other students. I have completed two courses and will immediately look for another to do!

I must agree totally with those who have praised the quality integrity and information in this course. What a great world this would be if this level of discussion and understanding could be adopted by participants in all religions and all ways of life. The course covered all areas of interest to me. I was recovering from major surgery in the early stages and it was a great distraction.

Religion is something we are born into and little thought, if any, is given to other religious faiths until we are much older. I believe that compulsory and unbiased religious history should be a subject at school level (would that this were possible around the world). Hopefully this would lead to greater understanding and acceptance of other faiths and a freedom from religious fanaticism and bias. I thank the authors for their considerable effort in putting this course together.

The course kept me busy and thinking for it’s duration which is what I intended it to do. I was not expecting miraculous revelations or a cure for the difficulties I experience from time to time within my partnership, more a recognition of their existence generally speaking, what triggers my own intolerance of certain behaviour and how some of my own reactions do not help!
