Ian Wilson has done a superb job in presenting the complexity of Continents on the Move in an understandable and enjoyable way. Graphics and photographs clarified many aspects and the links are great resources for future reference. It was good to be able to access the course units at times suitable for me. All involved with the production of the course are to be congratulated, especially the tutor, who has helped me make sense of a very shaky world and helped me to be much more sensitive to its needs.

I was constantly amazed at the extension material available through web links offered. It is intriguing to see lava flowing over your desk and volcanoes erupting before your very eyes? Thank you Ian for this most interesting course.

I learned a lot, there are plenty of graphs, photos and videos. I still have a lot to learn about technology, but Ian always helps. I would recommend the course to anyone with an interest in geography.

I found this course to be one of the most interesting U3A courses I have undertaken. I have taken so much away from this course and am very glad to have undertaken it from beginning to completion. A truly wonderful course and one I would recommend to anyone wanting to know more about China.

As the course coincided with a traumatic house move I was unable to do any of the assignments but these have been saved for a future date. Course material excellent and made good reading, a stimulant for a future time. The course administration has also been very good.

This was my first experience of a self-paced online course and I found it suited me well and it was very professionally presented. I broke it down into sections so that I could explore the links and find other related material. This suited my availability very well. I would love to see more courses like this.

A group of enthusiastic participants judged the course to be excellent, well structured with access to extra material readily available. Great research which covered a period of massive cultural and economic changes in a succinct informative manner. As the presenter of the course and also a participant I introduced You Tube film clips relevant to each unit. This complemented the written word and gave visual images of people and historical events.

All around hard to fault in any area, George conducted the course well, material content excellent, one of the most enjoyable courses I have done, congratulations to all envolved.

I feel that I have now gained sufficient basic knowledge to enable me to continue studying in this area. The identification of specimens is something I have been unable to do, despite trying since the first botany course. This comprehensive course has been of great help to me and I thank all involved.
