A History of Ancient Egypt
The aim of this course is to present an overview of ancient Egypt and its people. The period it encompasses is vast – some two thousand plus years concluding with the New Kingdom. By necessity, the course is little more than an introduction to various subject areas in which significant developments will be identified
We now move on from the Archaic Period . We begin with the Old Kingdom.
Now we will look into the lives of some of the more prominent pharaohs of the New Kingdom.
In this Unit we will see the everyday life of ancient Egyptians unravel before our eyes
